Shift: 12 hours, days

Experience: .2 years of recent L&D RN experience (Labor & Delivery) . OR Circulator experience is required. CNM (Certified Nurse Midwife) experience will not be considered for this role. . Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips and pass a telemetry test on Day 1 with 85% or greater. . High-risk obstetrics experience is preferred but not required. Certifications: . BLS (Basic Life Support) – Current certification required. . NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Current card required. All lessons must be completed on NRP and must not expire during the proposed assignment. . Evidence of completing an Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course, preferably from AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses). . Dysrhythmia/Telemetry interpretation course is preferred but not mandatory. Required Skills: . Experience with EPIC (electronic health record system) is required for the position. . Strong clinical and technical skills in Labor & Delivery and Telemetry monitoring. . Ability to work in a high-paced, high-risk environment involving labor, delivery, and newborn care. . Must be able to function independently in emergency situations, particularly those involving telemetry, fetal monitoring, and labor complications. . Department Overview: . Labor & Delivery department includes 9 labor rooms, 2 operating and recovery rooms, and 5 triage rooms. . The department handles approximately 3000 deliveries per year, providing a variety of obstetric services, including high-risk deliveries.
