Shift: 8 hours, nights

Job Title: Registered Nurse - MS/Tele Location: Gardner, MA 01440 Shift: Night Shift, 4x8 hours (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM), EOW Payment Breakdown: $20/ hr. on W2 ($640 weekly) + $38/hr. as Stipend ($1,216 weekly max stipend) Responsibilities: • Provide care for patients in a med/surg telemetry unit, ensuring patient safety and comfort. • Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias. • Administer medications, including IV insulin protocols and blood products. • Perform wound care, including wound vacs, and manage surgical drains and chest tubes. • Provide respiratory support through CPAP/BIPAP and HFNC. • Manage tracheostomies and assist with non-invasive airway management. • Care for patients with feeding tubes, central lines, PICC lines, and other invasive devices. • Use Rapid Response Teams as needed for critical situations. • Ensure adherence to isolation precautions and safety protocols. • Administer phlebotomy, peripheral line care, and IV starts. • Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and care procedures. Requirements: • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a busy med/surg unit with telemetry (no tele techs). • Proficient in Meditech, MS/Tele, telemetry monitoring, and dysrhythmia management. • Must have ACLS certification. • Preferred: CPI, NIHSS, Telemetry Oncology, Pre/Post Hemodialysis, Renal failure, aneurysms, spinal cord injury, and trauma experience. • Previous Charge Nurse or Trauma Level II experience is a plus. • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Additional Information: Unit Systems:Omnicell, Meditech Expanse Rate: Local travelers within 30 miles are accepted at lower rate Scrubs: Any color Target Ratio: 1:5-6
