Job Title: Registered Nurse - RNFA Location: North Adams Campus of Berkshire Medical Center - 71 Hospital Ave, North Adams, MA 01247 Contract Group: Berkshire Health Systems Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-hour shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) Start Date: April 7th, 2025. Compensation: • Weekly Gross: $3,750.00 Per Week • On W2(Taxable): $1,160.00 Per Week ($29/hour) • Stipend (Non-Taxable): $2,590.00 Per Week Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to join the team at North Adams Campus of Berkshire Medical Center. This is a 13-week contract position offering a Day 5x8-hour shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), starting on April 7th, 2025. Job Responsibilities: • Perform as an RNFA in the Operating Room (OR). • Must have at least 5 years of experience in the RNFA role. • Must be available for on-call and weekend shifts as required. • Expected to float to Berkshire Medical Center (BMC) OR as needed. • Maintain accurate patient records and comply with hospital protocols and standards. • Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Requirements: • Active Massachusetts RN license required at the time of submission. • Minimum 5 years of RNFA experience. • On-call and weekends required as part of the job. • 40 hours per week guaranteed. • COVID-19 Vaccine + Booster (No exemptions). • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Status currently unknown. • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. • Experience with the operating room environment is mandatory. • Must be able to float to different units within the Berkshire Health System. Local Travel: Local candidates (within 50 miles) are not accepted.
