Now Hiring: Local Ultrasound Tech – Part-Time Assignment
Facility: Brooks Memorial Hospital
Location: 525 Central Ave., Dunkirk, NY 14048
Assignment Duration: 3/31/2025 – 6/19/2025 (13 weeks)
Shift: 2 afternoons per week, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (15 hours/week)
On-call and every 3rd weekend coverage required
Pay Rate: $65.00 Hourly; $97.50 Overtime Pay
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and certified Ultrasound Tech to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Dunkirk, NY. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality ultrasound imaging and vascular studies while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound and vascular imaging procedures
Prepare and position patients while explaining procedures clearly
Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings as needed
Analyze and interpret ultrasound results for accurate reporting
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team for patient care
Maintain and ensure proper function of imaging equipment
Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
Registered Ultrasound Technician (US Registered)
Vascular certification required
Preferred Certifications: American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) & RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist)
Experience with vascular ultrasound imaging
Strong communication and patient-care skills
Ability to work afternoon shifts, on-call, and every 3rd weekend
