Pride Health is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a team in Houston, TX 77030. This a 13 weeks contract with a possible extension. (Open for both local and travel candidates) Job Description: • Knowledge of Radiology physics and procedures; understanding of Radiology principles that are developmentally appropriate for ages 0 – adulthood. • Operation of all required equipment including troubleshooting when necessary, of the equipment, including automated processors, copying/digitizing film equipment, R.I.S., and PACS. • Successful demonstration of the professional fundamental competencies. • Must be articulate, courteous and supportive in dealing with patients, parents, nursing, faculty, administrative and departmental personnel so that excellent customer service and positive guest relations are achieved. • Must independently scan patients by following the established protocols • Preferably if able to demonstrate bilingual skills. Required: • 3 years Radiology experience (any/all modalities). • Graduate of a formal diagnostic Radiology program. • R-ARRT - ARRT RegTech Radiography - American Registry of Radiology Technologists • CMRT - Cert Medical Radiologic Technologist - Texas Medical Board. • BLS - AHA Additional Information: Location: Houston, TX 77030 Schedule: M-F (8hr days) or M-F (4-10’s) or M-F (3-12s) to include call Contract Length:13 weeks Local Pay Rate: $60 - $64/Hour Travel Pay: Weekly Gross - $2,750.00 W2 hourly – $32.35/hour Weekly Stipend (Non-taxable) - $1,456 *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
