Job Title: Surgical Services - Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Facility: Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital Location: 9555 76th St, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158 Start Date: 04/07/2025 (or within 2 weeks of offer) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (09:00 - 05:30) Compensation: • Weekly Gross: $2,445.00 Per Week • On W2(Taxable): $800.00 Per Week ($20/hour) • Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,645.00 Per Week Job Summary: Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital is seeking a Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) to join their surgical team. This role will focus on assisting in various surgical procedures, with a particular emphasis on robotics, especially with the Da Vinci Xi system. The surgical specialties include Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Spine, Plastics, Podiatry, Eyes, ENT, Urology, OB/GYN, and Neurosurgery. You will be rotating through all specialties as part of the surgical team, and weekend and holiday call coverage is required. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in preparing and maintaining sterile fields during surgeries. • Prepare and set up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for various surgeries. • Assist with robotic surgeries using Da Vinci Xi system (experience required). • Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other team members to ensure the success of surgical procedures. • Monitor and ensure patient safety during surgeries by assisting with positioning and ensuring proper aseptic techniques. • Rotate through all surgical specialties including Orthopedics, Spine, Urology, OB/GYN, Plastics, Podiatry, and others. • Assist in cleaning and maintaining surgical instruments and equipment. • Participate in call rotations, including weekends and holidays, and take responsibility for coverage if time off is requested during call periods. Requirements: • Certified Surgical Tech (CST) certification required. • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. • Experience with Robotics (specifically Da Vinci Xi) is required. • Experience in a variety of specialties such as Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Spine, Plastics, Podiatry, Eyes, ENT, Urology, OB/GYN, and Neurosurgery. • 1 year of experience as a Surgical Tech is preferred.
