  • Shift: 12 hours, days
Schedule: Weekend: Only required during call. Call: Call 1 day per week and 1 weekend approximately every 4 weeks (subject to change based on departmental needs). Floating: Within facility and scope of practice, and to Main OR as needed. Minimum Experience: 3 years of experience required; however, first-time travelers are welcome. Required Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) CSFA (Certified Surgical First Assistant) or NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) or NCCSA (National Certified Cardiovascular Surgical Assistant) Required Skills: Cardiac, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic experience. Responsibilities: Provide surgical assistance in various procedures within the specified specialties. Work on-call as required, with flexibility to float within the facility and the Main OR as necessary. Adhere to departmental needs and operational changes.
