Key Responsibilities: Perform microscopic evaluations of cytological specimens using specialized techniques, including ROSE, EBUS, and FNA. Provide preliminary interpretations and diagnoses on prepared cytology slides. Collaborate with pathologists for final diagnosis and provide input on sample adequacy. Ensure accuracy and compliance with laboratory standards and regulatory guidelines. Document findings accurately in the laboratory information system. Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality control measures are followed. Qualifications: California Cytotechnologist License (Required) Experience in ROSE, EBUS, and FNA (Required) Extensive experience in Non-GYN cases (Required) Recent experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred Additional Information: Location: Los Gatos, CA 95032 Travel: Required between Los Gatos and Mountain View Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, starting between 7:00 AM and 10:30 AM (Monday to Friday)/ 40 hours/week. Contract Length: 12 weeks
