Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology Location: Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital, 9555 76th St, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158 Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (09:00 - 17:30) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs/week Tentative Start Date: 03/31/2025 Job Duration: 13 weeks Number of Positions: 1 Compensation and Benefits: • Weekly Gross: $3,006.00 Per Week • On W2(Taxable): $920.00 Per Week ($23/hour) • Stipend (Non-Taxable): $2086.00 Per Week Position Overview: The Interventional Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures, including cardiac and vascular procedures. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of travel experience and the ability to operate CT and fluoroscopy equipment. This role requires experience in cardiac stent placement, hemodynamic monitoring, and other advanced cardiac procedures. Key Responsibilities: • Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, stent placement, PCI, and PTCA • Provide hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias during procedures • Assist with the placement and removal of devices such as cardiac implants, IABP, and ECMO • Interpret and monitor critical patient data throughout procedures • Operate CT and fluoroscopy equipment for various procedures • Provide support and care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures • Rotate on-call shifts, including weekdays (2x per week) and weekends (every 3rd weekend) • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols during all procedures • Use Epic for charting and patient documentation Job Requirements: • Experience:2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology with travel experience • Certifications: o BLS and ACLS required o CCI RCIS or ARRT R certification required • Skills: o Experience with Cardiac Implant Closure Devices, Cardiac Stent Placement, and Diagnostic Catheterizations o Proficiency in Hemodynamic Monitoring and Interpretation of Dysrhythmias o Experience with Left/Right Heart Catheterization, PCI, PTCA, and PA Line Insertion o Experience with Cardiac Procedures such as Impella Insertion, Rotablader Athrectomy, and Ventricular Assist Device Insertion is a plus • Equipment: CT, Fluoroscopy, and preferred experience with ECMO, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella Insertion, and Watchman device • Licenses: Wisconsin license or Compact State license required at time of submission • On-Call: Required (rotating weekdays and weekends) • Epic Experience Other Requirements: • References: Two supervisor references required after offer • COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required (facility guideline) • Flu Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious exemptions only)
