Job Title: Electrophysiology (EP) Tech
Location: Wilmington, NC 28401
Shift: 4x10-Hour (07:30 AM - 06:00 PM)
Payment Breakdown:
$20/ hr. on W2 ($800 weekly) + $44/hr. as Stipend ($1,760 weekly max stipend)
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in EP lab procedures such as ablations, pacemaker insertions, ICD placements, and lead extractions.
• Perform EKG lead placement and prep access sites.
• Maintain sterile technique and serve as a room circulator.
• Monitor and evaluate arrhythmias, providing accurate and timely assessments.
• Work with specialized equipment like Cryo, PFA, and IVUS.
• Follow all safety protocols, including BLS and ACLS.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Electrophysiology required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience with EP lab procedures and equipment (Siemens, EPIC, Cardio Lab, CUPID).
• First-time travelers are welcome.
Additional Information:
• Average daily census: 15 cases.
• Unit systems: Pyxis, EPIC, Cardio Lab, SBAR.
• Scrubs provided.
• Contract staff may be required to work during a storm or disaster situation.
• Locals (within 50 miles) accepted at a lower rate.
