Ultrasound Technologist (Contract) – Mount Sinai Faculty Practice OB/GYN Location: 425 W 59th St, New York, NY 10019 Duration: 03/31/2025 – 05/31/2025 (60-day contract) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Interview: In-person interview required – no exceptions Job Responsibilities: Perform ultrasound exams, including OB/GYN scans across all trimesters Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment Capture and transfer images to PACS for physician review Assist in training and mentoring new ultrasound personnel Handle patient scheduling and calls as needed Requirements: Education: Associate’s Degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology or High School Diploma/GED + Accredited Ultrasound/Sonography Training Program Certifications: ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) – Required, BLS (AHA) – Required Experience: Two or more years as an Ultrasound Technologist, OB/GYN experience required (vascular ultrasound techs not a fit), Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PACS systems
