Position Details: • Number of Beds - 245 (licensed) • Number of Staff – 38 • Patient Ratios – varies per daily patient census. • Scrub Color/Attire - Olive top / black bottom. • EMR – Meditech • Proof of completion of 20hr ACPE-accredited sterile compounding course (a letter attesting to completion of a course in sterile compounding from the pharmacist’s university / college will suffice, too). • Decentralized pharmacy experience – vancomycin dosing adjustments, renal dosing adjustments. • Supervise technical support personnel in drug preparation and distribution systems. • Perform final dispensing check of all medication orders and complete required documentation. • Review / Monitoring of Override Reports (and other reports) Qualifications: • License: Active Pharmacist license with Texas State Board of Pharmacy. • Experience: Prior hospital experience (prefer at least 2yrs). • Certification: BLS. • 2 professional references #HCHS--AK
