Title: Psychologist # of Openings: 2 Position Type: Contract Location: Warm springs, MT, United States Shift timing: Day shifts 5 8s or 4 10s) Description: Montana State Hospital is in need of an Psychologist- psychology (neuropsych testing and clinical psychology) License is required Duration:- 6 Months A Psychologist's responsibilities include evaluating patients and gathering their history before diagnosing issues that need attention through the use of tests to develop a treatment plan to ensure the health and success of your patients. They will interview patients and perform diagnostic tests to get a clearer idea of their mental health issues. Ultimately, you will provide individual treatment options for people to understand themselves better while helping others identify ways to change their behaviors and alleviate problems in their lives. Job responsibilities:- 1)Use knowledge of psychological theory and practice. 2)Help clients address mental health concerns or adjust their behaviors. 3)Exhibit superior communication skills to uncover complicated mental health issues. 4)Help individuals address underlying behavioral issues. 5)Empathize with a wide range of people. 6)Focus on the needs of your clients. 7)Develop and recommend treatment plans based on patient needs and diagnosis. 8)Provide referrals when necessary for additional care, evaluation, or treatment. 10)Collaborate with faculty, staff, and other professionals to provide the best care possible
