Required Chemo Certified! Must be able to float to Med Surg. Accepts 1st time Traveler! Avg. Census: 8 Patient Ratio: 1:4 Beds:8 Patient Age Group: Adults- Geriatrics Patient Diagnoses: Medical/Surgical patients requiring telemetry; also patients requiring Chemotherapy Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, TNCC/TCAR, NIH, Chemo Certified. Skills Requirement: Tele Oncology Telemetry Interpretation/management of Dysrhythmias Feeding Tube Care and management Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management Renal failure Accessing Ports Blood Product Administration Central line care/management Monitoring Chemotherapy Peripheral Line Care/Management PICC line management Starting IVs Heparin Protocols Manage Cardiac drips- no titration Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration PCA Chemotherapy Administration Monitoring Chemotherapy Tele Nurse - Nights Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
