Shift Breakdown: 3x12 hrs
Shift: 12 hours, nights

Department: Critical Care Must be willing to float to PCU Years of Experience: 2 Years - # of Beds: 32 - Nurse/Patient Ratios: ICU 1:2, PCU 1:4, MedSurg 1:5 - Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS - Common diagnoses: Heavy cath lab - Coronary angiograms & stenting, peripheral angiograms & stenting, sepsis, neurosurgery, drug & alcohol abuse, COPD, CHF, etc. ICU: occasional IABP, Impella (higher acuity typically go to core staff) Occasional peds - go to core staff. - Experience: First time traveler okay. Prefer ICU background, otherwise must have PCU background. Must be able to titrate drips. Must be comfortable taking PCU (1:4) or MedSurg (1:5) patients - there are time that there are no 'ICU' patients on the floor. - Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes
