Location: Primarily in Elk City, OK - will travel to Sayre, Hobart, & Woodward             Reimbursed 67 cents/mile Duration: PERM Salary: $100K-$150K - pay scale below Insight Global is looking for an Advanced Practitioner to provide primary health care and perform selective medical services under the direction of a physician. Responsibilities include taking medical histories, assessing medical conditions, interpreting findings, and preparing and maintaining records, including dictating reports. You will be responsible for handling all patient interactions including rooming, treating, planning necessary tests and medications. This job has an emphasis on stress testing, pulmonary function testing, and EKG's Responsibilities: • Clinical Evaluation and Documentation: Preparing new patients in the clinic and managing follow-up appointments in a personal clinic schedule. • Clinic Rounding and Patient Evaluation: Conducting evaluations for new consults at clinical sites, completing histories and physicals (H&P), and preparing discharge summaries. Flexibility in work hours is essential, as the role may require occasional early mornings, late evenings, or extended work weeks. Qualifications: • Nurse Practitioner: National certification from a national certifying body acceptable by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing. Current BLS certification required. ACLS certification within 60 days of hire. • Physician's Assistant: Baccalaureate degree or a minimum of two years of college credit or graduate from an ARC-PA (Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant) approved program. Current license as a Physician Assistant with the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure. • Clinical Nurse Specialist: Completion of a formal program of study approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing designed to prepare registered nurses to perform in an expanded role in the delivery of health care. National certification from a national certifying body acceptable by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing in Acute Care. (Or hold a specialty certification as a clinical nurse specialist valid on January 1, 1994, granted by a national certifying organization recognized by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing and deemed to be a clinical nurse specialist under the provisions of the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.) •    Ensure that all staff members at the clinic for the uninsured possess and demonstrate the right kind of compassion necessary to provide high-quality, empathetic care to patients. Licensure/Certification: Current BLS certification required. Experience: Cardiology experience preferred.
