Guaranteed Hours 40 hours per week Years of Experience 2 Years Required Certifications BLS, Certified Radiation Therapist -ARRT (T) Verification Shift Notes 7a-5p varied shifts, 8 hours shifts 2/10 START DATE Department: Radiation Therapist Start dates are not flexible. SUBMISSION PROFILE REQUIREMENTS - Must be in the profile or cannot move forward with submittal. • Start Date – Must match the next available start date, include in attached profile/resume • EPIC experience required. Ensure it is accurate (there have been inconsistencies on the resume versus the cover page) • EMR listed on each work assignment • Time Off- Ensure dates make sense for the required start date and are 5 days or less. • Include within the attached profile/resume. All RTO needs to be in at time of submission. • Resume- Ensure resume information is accurate (there’s been an increase in inaccurate information sent). • MUST INCLUDE: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, and trauma level (if applicable) for each hospital. • Explain any employment gaps upon submission and include in attached profile/resume. • Certifications- Make sure certs are accurate and up to date. License- Active and in hand - AZ or Compact- Ensure it's accurate General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS, ARRT, Experience with Varian Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements ARRT How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 2 Will they have to float/cover any other areas? No Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties Assisting patient on and off the table, usually are only in support role for starting and stopping the beam/treatment. Experience or 'Must have' skills 2 years of experience minimum Average # of treatment 40-45 per day EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use EPIC and Aria (software that runs machine) Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens) Varian Is there a Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech on each shift? Radiation Therapist lead Do they use RRAs (Registered Radiology Assistants)? No Radiologist in-house? Radiation Physician is in house Do they have to start IVs? (if applicable to the department) No Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) 7a-5p varied start times. 8 hour shifts Weekend Requirements Very infrequent Holiday Requirements No Call or Standby requirement? No Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided?
