BLS • ACLS • NRP • Intermediate AWHONN-FHM or equivalent • 2 years L&D experience. 200+ births per month • High Risk Delivery Exp • High Risk Antepartum Exp • Circulate and Recover • Triage • Isolation Precaution/PPE • Maintains Central Lines (CVC-PICC) • Insulin and Heparin Drips • Magnesium Sulfate • Sterile Vaginal Exam (SVE) • Intrauterine Pressure Catheter • Anti-Hypertensives • Computerized documentation • Academic Experience • Multi-facility L&D exp or travel exp Will position float between units: Yes Is on-call required? No Are weekends required? Yes averaging every other weekend Are block schedules required? No What are expected ratios? AWHONN standards Special requirements: LDRP and triage experience required with a minimum of 2 years in the specialty. RN may float as helping hands if census is low. RN does not take a patient load in other departments, and is able to immediately return if an OB patient presents.
