Job: Therapy/Rehabilitation - SLP Acute Care Hospital Pay Package:- Weekly Gross $2,806.38 Weekly Taxable $1,175.38 Weekly Non- Taxable $1,631.00 Hourly Taxable Upto 40 $29.38 Hourly Non Tax $40.78 Overtime after 40 or 48 $37.50 Per Diem Maximum Allow Hours Per Week $40.00 Minimum Hours Per Week $40.00 Description:- Must be able to do MBS swallow evaluations. Shifts: 5/8s, M-F Start Time: 8am or 830am Weekend Requirements: There may be an occasional weekend as needed Certification Requirements: CA SLP License BLS JOB DUTIES: Provides assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with cognitive, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring and care, and effective communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. Assists with clinical supervision of assistants and aides, and serves as clinical instructor for assigned students.
