Shift: 12 hours, days

Job Title: RN - MS/Tele Location: Winston Salem, NC 27103 Job Duration: 13 Weeks with extension possibility Shift: 12hr Days (06:45-19:15) Fri-Mon schedule. Every other Weekend Coverage Skills Required: IV Start and Telemetry. Minimum Experience Required: 2 yrs OR 1 year with travel experience Documents Required: RN License (NC or Compact license) ACLS-AHA BLS-AHA NIHSS MOAB Unit Description: This is a transitional unit where patients from the emergency department await in observation for a disposition decision. In this unit, orders and care are initiated. It serves to decompress the Emergency Department. We also support and assist with any procedures or diagnostics the providers feel the patient may need while waiting for their disposition. This unit is designed and tailored to facilitate thru-put in the ED. Patient Population: General Surgery and Medical Tele. Cardiac telemetry /medical telemetry. Various diagnosis requiring either medical intervention or surgical procedures. Including medical tele patients.
