Minimal "extras" were built into this package in order to maximize weekly pay to the best of my ability - we can discuss what this means upon connecting. Details as posted by Facility/VMS: RN's need to be open to Floating! Busy/Large Level 1 Trauma Candidates need to be flexible on scheduling EOW EPIC required Successful placements here have 3+ years exp, pervious travel exp. and have worked in a very busy hospital in the past. Daily Parking is $15+/day. Multiple options for on/off campus garages and lots ranging from $95 - $120 with monthly pass. Unit Details # of beds 8A-12 beds and 8B-13 beds high acuity unit Ratios 1:2 and occasionally 1:1 Required Certifications Experienced ICU RN's Common diagnoses/Types of patients Heart. Lumg Transplants, LVAD patients in C8A, ACB and Valve surgeries in C8B Experience or 'Must have' skills: CRRT trained Are RNs required to titrate drips yes Common titratable &/or set rate drips All vasoactive drips for cardiac patients Charge Nurse/House Supervisor Unit has charge RN that has patients most of the time Are there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios 1 PCA on the floor Hospitalist or Intensivist in house Intensivist model RT in ICU 24/7 RT assigned to unit RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc) any equipment that is managed by an RT Is there tele on this unit Monitor Techs RNs read strips Hardwire monitoring Shifts & Scheduling 12 hour shifts, self scheduling to balance needs Weekend Requirement 6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks schedules Holiday Requirement any they are willing to work Is there a call or standby requirement no Floating Requirements First to float out depending on competency Scrub Color/Dress Code teal scrubs Unit/Department specific orientation 2-3 shifts with preceptors Additional Notes Devices these units see are LVAD, CRRT/SLED, Impella, IABP
