- Full-time or part-time 1099 position at a moderate volume ED with 50,000 annual visits - Open to nurse practitioners and physician assistants with emergency medicine experience - Shift options are 6a-6p and 6p-6a - Strong support with 3 physician shifts per day and exceptional nursing staff - Average census of 115 per day - 24-hour access to lab, radiology, intensivist, respiratory and other support services - Compensation $120/hour for days and $125/hour for nights - Paid malpractice - Three-bedroom, three-bathroom home available for traveling providers - Enjoy the significant tax advantages of independent contractor status - Sunny dry climate with low cost of living - Mountain vistas and outdoor recreational options associated with nearby Sequoia National Park - Proximity to Fresno is 70 miles and Bakersfield is 50 miles
