Must Haves: • Master’s degree or equivalent & two (2) plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience. • A current license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse specializing in PMHC • Considerable knowledge in: o Nursing principles and clinical therapeutic models o Relevant state and federal laws, statutes, and regulations o State, federal and local health care agencies and programs o Pharmacology as it relates to advanced nursing practice. Soft Skills: • Collaboration: Able to work across functions and teams to reach a common goal • Influencing: Able to motivate and accomplish goals / actions through others • Communication: Able to connect with others across all communication channels • Respect: Builds bridges and accepts inputs from all sources • Creativity: Open minded and unconventional in thinking • Problem Solving: Able to apply a wide range of techniques to attack and solve issues / opportunities • Analytical: Able to evaluate multiple data sources and extract actionable insights • Time Management: Able to maximize our most fixed resources Summary/Day-to-Day: A non-profit client of Insight Global located in East Hartford, CT is looking to hire on two Psychiatric APRNs to join their expanding team. The Psych APRN will be responsible for their medication management prescribers that will be working in a true integrated model while also being supported by a medical assistant and a care coordinator. The APRN will be able to devote their encounters to managing their patient’s medication as well. The Psychiatric APRNs and MDs will have the ability to provide warm hand offs when patients are in need of additional behavioral health or physical health care too. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Perform specialized duties in providing medical and psychiatric care to children and/or adults depending on certification and privileging • Provide appropriate nursing and/or health care services to clients including clinical assessments, treatments, diagnosing medical conditions, assessing emergencies, ordering diagnostic studies, prescribing medications, leading cardiac arrest codes and documenting medical care • Perform and document appropriate psychiatric medication evaluation and management services to patients including psychiatric medication evaluations and documents with appropriate E&M codes • Complete all related charting in the agency’s Electronic Medical Record within 24 hours • Maintain patient productivity standards of 14-18 patients daily (Could be less depending on case) • Provide referrals for other medical services including referrals to the company’s primary care department, outpatient therapy services, community support/rehabilitation services, detox, or residential programs when appropriate • Provide direction to staff on appropriate health record documentation • Consult with clinical staff regarding assessment methods and treatment plans • Consult with other departments including onsite pharmacy to ensure appropriate care is being offered to patients • Complete appropriate paperwork or refers patients to appropriate alternate who can assist with paperwork • Participate in quality assurance and other clinical committees as needed • Work well within a team environment and helps promote positivity among the team • Engage in team meetings and other training programs • Function as liaison between agency and community health care providers • May assist families and other groups in understanding medical needs of clients serviced by agency • May provide training to nursing and paraprofessional staff including practicum students • Respond to common inquires or complaints from customers • *All agency staff are required to attend all mandatory department/agency meetings and trainings* Additional Company Points: • Employee Centric • Mission Based Company • Has been the top workplace in for the last 13 years! • Tuition Reimbursement • Loan forgiveness after being with the company for 10 years • Productivity incentives of up to $36,000 • Licensure costs coverage on the top two most important licenses Terms/Duration: Direct-Hire/Permanent Schedule: Monday to Friday: 8am to 4:30pm Salary Range: $100,000 to $145,000 + Productivity incentives of up to $36,000 Targeted Start Date: ASAP Interview Process: 2 step – 1st is 30 min virtual then final onsite
