Shift: 10 hours, days

Facility is Level 1 Trauma Center, Magnet Designation, Comprehensive Stroke Center. Unit has 4 IR rooms, 1 CT room, and 2 Ultrasound rooms. Traveler can expect to see approx. 90% adult patients, and 10% pediatric patients*. Unit sees average of 25-45+ patients per day (busy!). Strong neuro IR and general IR patients - kyphos/vertebroplasties, G/GJ tube placement/exchange, neph tubes/nephroureteral stents, IVC filters, temporary and tunneled dialysis catheters, Y90s/TIPs, chemo/coil embolizations, ports, stroke patients. May see abscess drains, lung biopsies, cryo and microwave ablations, paracentesis/thoracentesis, and liver/kidney biopsies in CT/Ultrasound. Traveler can expect to receive 1 shift (10hrs) of unit orientation to understand flow. Will be expected to start taking call by 2nd week. Scrubs provided by facility. Free parking on site.*If they re a peds inpatient, the anesthesiologist and the pediatric sedation team will give the sedation. Peds experience not required, will be taught here. Candidate MUST HAVE:- 2 years IR RN experience - strong neuro IR background
