Shift: 12 hours

Need an APP with experience, # of traumas can vary daily, APP would be expected to round, assist in OR and respond to ED pages. There will be 2 APP's on during day, 1 at night. Suturing, comfortable performing fracture reductions, comfortable being independent then calling Trauma or Orthopaedic surgeons for backup, should have experience as an OR assist. Day Shifts of 8-12 hours and after hours calls. Off site with call back. Practice Setting: Inpatient Coverage Type: Call Only EMR System: Cerner 5-10 patients per day Lic in PA ony to present 60-120 days to cred ACLS Shifts are 7a-7p during the week and call is 7p-7a off site. Weekend shifts are 7a-3p, offsite call is 3p-7a. rounding, consults, ER, and first assist OR for orthopedic trauma cases at a level 2 trauma center.
