5 Year Experience BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC Covid Booster, FLU Active NY State License Nurse Manager Emergency Department assumes 24-hour responsibility for overall assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care. -Nurse Manager Emergency Department responsibilities include oversight and direction for the emergency department, and accountability for planning, directing, leading and evaluating nursing care within the department. -Foster an environment of collaboration and respect with all other healthcare team members. -Weekend and holiday coverage as needed is also a responsibility of the role as Nurse Manager. -Performs related duties as required. Required Skills & Experience: -Minimum of five (5) years nursing experience of management and/or supervisory in the Emergency Department. -Demonstrates leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. -Ability to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing. -Excellent creative skills, ideas to improve existing programs. -Ability to determine appropriate action in complex situations. -Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities and to prioritize scheduling work. -Ability to complete work assignments accurately and in a timely manner. -Ability to handle difficult situations involving patients, physicians, or others in a professional manner. -Services, processes, ideas that have an impact on this job and the department. #HCRR
