Shift Breakdown: 4x10 hrs
Shift: 10 hours, days

Shift: Day 10 (8:00 AM - 6:30 PM) Description: Psychiatric Social Worker-Adult Emergency Room Days: Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. The social worker will work 4 (10-hour shifts) with alternating Saturdays. Hours: 8 am 6 pm for the first month or two, then 2 pm 12 am thereafter Maryland Social Work license-LMSW required, LCSW-C is highly preferred. Conduct psychiatric evaluations for patients in the emergency department who are facing a mental health crisis. The social worker will evaluate the patient and determine if they need an inpatient psychiatric admission or can be discharged home with outpatient resources. Master s Degree from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education or an equivalent organization approved by the Council on Social Work Education. Licensure, Certification, Registration: Licensure as an LMSW is required (LCSW-C preferred), and one must maintain a license throughout the duration of employment. Preferred Qualifications: Two years of an emergency room or pediatrics social work experience
