We are seeking a Registered Nurse-Medical Surgical / Telemetry for a travel assignment in West Burlington Iowa.

About Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center - West Burlington Campus Great River Health is a regional health system offering acute, skilled and intermediate care to residents of southeast Iowa, west-central Illinois and northeast Missouri. The hospitals offer comprehensive medical and surgical services on an inpatient and outpatient basis. Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center, with campuses in Fort Madison and West Burlington, as well as Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant, are all part of Great River Health, a 378-bed regional, integrated health-care system that includes: retail pharmacies; retail medical equipment and supplies services; outpatient renal dialysis centers; and a network of specialty and primary-care clinics located throughout the region. Additional Assignment Details: Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, and Telemetry. Positions available on Medical Surgical Unit and Telemetry Unit. Upon acceptance to assignment, traveler will need to self-study for telemetry test. Basic dysthymia test out will be given within first week of hire, must pass to work on unit. 36 hours per week - 72 per pay period ACU: Telemetry Ratios are currently 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights Floating is a requirement in ACU is always required for any non-critical care inpatient units including to the Emergency Department if there are boarded patients. If the traveler has critical care experience, we have occasionally floated them to CCU. ACU required every other weekend rotation. Cerner Telemetry Ratios are currently 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights
