24-20263 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent.Graduation from a school of Surgical Technology preferred. CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: BLS certification required prior to end of probationary period. Surgical Tech certification required. SKILLS: Knowledge of care and handling of instruments and equipment. Knowledge of sterilization and cleansing procedures.Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English. EXPERIENCE: One or more years experience in an acute care hospital setting in the operating room or an instrument care environment preferred.
