CVPCU RN Must have prior CV critical care experience Unit Information: 4Heart, Cardiovascular Progressive Care (CVPC) Primary patient population is CV surgery and vascular surgery to include open heart surgery (CABG, AVR, MVR, Bentall, TAVR, etc), thoracic lung surgery (lobectomy, thoracotomy, etc.), esophagogastrectomy, AAA (open and endovascular), fem-pop bypass, carotid endarterectomies. We also receive overflow medical cardiology patients with diagnoses of heart failure, DKA, chest pain, sepsis, heart block, etc. Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Stepdown experience Telemetry experience Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. Prior CV surgery and vascular surgery population experience (open heart, TAVR, lobectomy, AAA repair, and fem-pop bypass) within a year CVICU experience REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: ACLS and BLS All active certifications + license required!
