Cytotechnologist. 13-26 WEEK CONTRACT! 50 Mile Radius Rule - NO LOCALS. 8 HR DAY SHIFT 0800-1630 - 40 hours per week. On Call Requirements: As requested. Charge required: No. Trauma Level: Level 1 Trauma. Number of Beds: 1200 Beds. DUTIES: - Microscopically evaluate all types of specimens submitted, recognize abnormalities identified and render and informs diagnosis to the Cytopathologist for consideration; to prepare cytologic specimens for evaluation using established procedures, to perform appropriate record keeping procedures. - Fine needle aspirate collection support. - Must insure all regulations are met and all productivity and quality standards are met or surpassed. REQUIREMENTS: - Must have completed Cytotechnology training in a CAHEA approved program - At least 1 year laboratory experience as a cytotechnologist. - Must have cytotechnology Florida license at time of submission. - No work history with gaps over 30 days w/o explanation. - Must have Facility Type, EMR, and Bed Count filled out. - At least 1 References: dated no more than 12 months old. . *****NO RTO THE FIRST 2 weeks of any NEW Assignment***** 6 DAY MAX RTO SUBMISSION FOR A 13 WEEK CONTRACT Required Upon Offer: Proof of Flu vaccine or medical exemption. Influenza vaccination is mandatory all candidates are required to provide proof with credentials prior to start date. The only exemption accepted will be a doctor’s note stating a reaction to the vaccine. ****Allergy to Eggs is not a valid exemption #HCAK
