General responsibilities: Performs advanced practice cardiac cath and peripheral angiography, electrophysiologic studies, therapeutic interventional procedures, and cardiac device implantation procedures. Provides peri-procedural care and education for patients. Assists cardiologists and other specialists performing diagnostic and interventional procedures. Maintains records and documentation for procedures. Location: MVH main campus Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days (4 10 hr shifts - 7am - 530pm) No weekends! Call requirements: no call requirements for this position MUST have EP (electrophysiology) experience > 1 yr. Prefer to have cardiac cath lab experience > 1 year. MUST have EPIC, and MacLab. 2 labs of EP (pacemaker devices, ablations, ICD insertions) and 5 cath labs. Tend to see approximately 20 patients a day between all labs. It’s a fast paced, high acuity Cath lab. We do structural heart procedures also (Watchman’s, TAVR, Mitraclips). It is a level 3 Cath lab. Licensure/Certification/Registration: -Amer Reg of Radiologic Technologists or RCIS -Licensed Radiology Technologist -BLS–Basic Life Support
