Director of Sterile Processing- Gainesville, FL (Relocation Available) Shift: Days Type: Full-Time / Permanent Pay - Open to discuss Job Description: The Sterile Processing Director is responsible for the complete oversight of the Sterile Processing Department (SPD). The Director serves as liaison between staff and administrative personnel and works cohesively with Admin Director to develop standards and procedures for providing care and improving quality and efficiencies. They are responsible for promoting strong and effective working relationships with other departments within the facility. Must have Director level experience overseeing SPD teams in an acute hospital setting. Oversees 3-4 supervisors and about 30 FTEs (a mixture of certified and not certified sterile processing techs) This will oversee all of Sterile Processing for North FL Hospital, and in about a year, it will include a second hospital as well (exciting growth opportunity!) Follow the Hospital Exposure Control Plans/Blood borne and Airborne Pathogens Requirements: Bachelors Degree required Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT), or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) BCLS Required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Benefits: Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
