Shift: 12 hours, days, evenings, nights

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: 1. Consistently provides quality patient care in a professional atmosphere while performing radiographic, CT procedures with accuracy and professionalism as prescribed by a physician, acknowledging the special needs of patients, i.e. pregnancy, trauma, sick and/or elderly patients. 2. Consistently performs quality radiographic exams by: a. Determines proper technique through the selection of voltage, current and exposure time to minimize patient and staff exposure and to effect quality diagnostic images; b. Properly positions patients to obtain optimum views of specified area of body as requested by a physician; c. Properly shields to minimize radiation to patients and staff and to ensure a safe environment. 3. Consistently performs quality CT exams by: a. Determines proper protocol according to the ordering physician and the radiologist. b. Properly maintain proper technique for adult and pediatric patients according to ALARA. c. Properly positions patients to obtain optimum images of body parts requested. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Must have graduated from an approved ARRT program Current Registration by the ARRT (R)(CT)(MR) or its equivalent. Minimum 1 year CT experience
