Position: RN- CDU (Clinical Decision "Observation" Unit) Length: Willing to offer 13 or 26 week contracts Years of Experience Required: 2 years Ratios: 1:5 (D) 1:6 (NOC) Weekend: Every other weekend Certifications: BCLS and ACLS required, NIH preferred Unit Average Daily Census: 40 Patient Ratio Required: 1:5 Patient info: Observation, general medical, post-op PCI, post-op general and gynecological surgery, short-stay inpatient and/or extended outpatient stay, GI bleed, SBO, ESRD, CHF, COPD, chronic bi-pap/C-pap, stable CIWA. Limited isolation patients, no chemo, no peritoneal dialysis, no acute bi-pap, no hemodynamically unstable pre-op, no post-op requiring stepdown level of care. Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care Total Staffed Beds: 325 Charting: EPIC ***Floating is required. Travelers regularly float between various like units, within skill set!
