Shift: 12 hours, days, evenings, nights

Summary of Need: The Nurse must provide nursing care with established guidelines and procedures to individuals with conditions and treatments that are non-critical. They will perform medication administration, patient assessment, follow ordered treatment plans and provide emergency care as needed. They may provide clinical supervision to paraprofessional and direct care personnel to which they are assigned. You will also participate in staff training, prepare clinical and administrative reports, maintain infection control standards and function as a member of a treatment team. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Maintaining general medical inventory (including controlled substances). Conducting medication administration. Review the overall health conditions (i.e. preparing, reviewing, and evaluating nursing intervention plans). Ensuring that interventions are consistent with comprehensive treatment plans. Participate in staff training. Prepare required clinical and administrative reports. Maintain infection control standards; and serve as a member of the facility's medical treatment team. Additional duties to be discussed in detail during the interview. Qualifications: Registered Nurse in New York State. Minimum of one (1) or more years' experience. Highly motivated, independent thinker and self-starter. Enthusiastic team player. Excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills. Able to manage multiple projects. Strong follow-up and communication skills. Excellent computer skills. Shift: 7pm to 7am or 11pm to 7am x 4 7am to 3pm of 7am to 7pm x 6 11am to 11pm or 3pm to 11pm x 5 Will include every other weekend, and some holidays. Contract Length: Up to 2 years.
