1.General job duties. Types of procedures required. See Job Description 2.Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) Meditech and CPN computer charting 3.Required skills and minimum years of experience. at least one year in labor and delivery specific. 4.Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc) RN, BLS, ACLS, NRP 5.Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?) day 6a-6p, night 6p-6a, weekend, all; Never alone, not on call 6.Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?) No 7.Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 5 Labor and Delivery room; 1 OR suite; 12 postpartum rooms 8.Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) Labor 1:1 Postpartum 1:3-4 9.Dress Code: Scrubs of your choice 10.Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program.
