Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) Location: Littleton, NH Shift: 12-Hour Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Tuesday - Thursday (with every other weekend required) 36-Hour Guarantee Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend and holiday coverage required EMR Used: Cerner Patient Ratio: 1:6 Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room (ER) team in Littleton, NH. This role involves providing emergency care to patients across all age groups, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. The ideal candidate will have experience in trauma care and be able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced emergency room environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide Emergency Care: Deliver nursing care to patients in the ER, managing trauma, illnesses, and emergencies for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Patient Assessment & Monitoring: Perform initial assessments, monitor patient conditions, and assist in stabilizing patients prior to treatment. Respond to Emergencies: Quickly respond to CODE RED, CODE BLUE, CODE PINK, and CODE ORANGE situations with professionalism and urgency. Maintain Patient Records: Accurately document patient information, vital signs, and nursing interventions in the Cerner EMR system. Administer Medications & Treatments: Administer prescribed medications, blood products, and specific treatments to patients, including outpatient care. Patient Transfers: Assist in the transfer of patients to other healthcare facilities as needed, ensuring all patient information is properly documented. Patient Discharge: Escort patients to their cars upon discharge, ensuring they have the necessary aftercare instructions. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with physicians, technicians, and support staff to provide the highest level of care to patients. Minimum Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current Emergency Department (ED) experience required. Certifications: ACLS (AHA) BLS (AHA) PALS (AHA) State License: Active New Hampshire RN license required. Compact License allowed. Education: BSN preferred. Cerner EMR experience preferred.
