Position: Medical Lab Technician
Schedule: Monday–Friday, day shifts (start between 7:00–8:30 AM). 1 in 3 Saturdays required, with the following Monday as a comp day.
Duration: 12-week assignment (guaranteed 40 hours/week).
Responsibilities:
Perform lab tests on blood, tissue, and body fluids to support diagnosis and treatment.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab instruments.
Evaluate tests for accuracy, interpret results, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Use multiple computer systems for data retrieval and reporting.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or human biological sciences (official transcripts required at the time of submission).
Skills:
Experience with lab instrumentation and automated testing.
Strong multitasking and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with scheduling flexibility (including off-shifts, holidays, and weekends).
Additional Information:
Must adhere to safety protocols for infectious specimens and chemicals.
