Shift: Night Schedule: 3x12 L&D/OB (LDRP) RN Requirements: MUST HAVES: Absolute Minimum of 2-years Labor and Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum (LDRP) experience (they would prefer them to have 4-5 years ideally) CERTS: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring - which can be from AWHONN or Relias Academy (STABLE also preferred but not required) Travel experience is preferred NOT required Charting: Fetal Link and Cerner Must be proficient caring for the mother and baby No high-risk mothers typically admitted as there is no high-risk section Must be comfortable with typically L&D IV gtts especially Pitocin and Magnesium Use Omnicell Unit is a full Labor and Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum (LDRP) floor all in one. Will have to care for the patient through the continuum of care until discharge. Must be comfortable working in the LDRP floor setting Will be required to float to MedSurg and accept at least 1-2 patient care load when LDPR has no patients: MedSurg experience is preferred for this reason, but not an absolute must. Just have to be comfortable floating to MedSurg when asked. Patients will be stable and not high acuity for the float.
