Shift Breakdown: 3x12 hrs
Shift: 12 hours, nights

Position Overview: Shift: 12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM to 7:00 AM), self-scheduling on a rotational basis (with the scheduling committee's approval). Shift Rotation: Every third weekend will be worked. Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week. Contract Length: 98 weeks. Job Responsibilities: Obstetrics Department: 2 delivery suites, performing approximately 80 deliveries per year. Mom and baby stay together in the same room after birth. Surgical Suite located on the first floor for C-sections. Labor & Delivery: As the sole RN in the OB department, you’ll manage the delivery process, assist with C-sections, and provide care to both the mother and baby. You will attend C-sections, working alongside a Provider, CRNA, Surgical Tech, and another RN in the OR. Patient Care when OB is quiet: When there are no OB patients, the RN will float to the Patient Care Unit (Med-Surg) for other nursing duties. Security & Equipment: The facility uses Hugs Infant Tags for infant security, Philips Ultrasound equipment, and OB Trace View for documentation. Required Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support). ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support). NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program). Experience & Education Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Obstetrics or Labor & Delivery. Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
