No first time travelers Cath Lab Techs:"Cases are done with 2 techs (1 scrubs & 1 monitors hemodynamics, etc) RN does conscious sedation Sometimes there will be a 4th person - could be an RN or a tech, depending on the case. There is also a 'Lead Tech' that is responsible for making the room assignments." Certs: ARRT, Fluoro, BLS Skills: STEMI receiving facility. Cardiac/Coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR & neuro intervention. "Must have current cath lab experience. Must be comfortable with conscious & moderate sedation, procedural processes, airway management, cardiac drips (such as Integrilin, dopamine, & vasopressors), as well as balloon pumps."
