Job Title: Medical Assistant (MA) - Primary Care Practice Location: Wellesley, MA Schedule: 40 hours/week (8:00 AM or 8:30 AM start until 5:00 PM) Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant for a busy Primary Care practice in Wellesley. This role combines administrative duties with traditional MA responsibilities to ensure smooth clinic operations and excellent patient care. Key Responsibilities: Perform administrative tasks, including prior authorizations and patient education. Room patients, take vitals, and conduct EKGs. Support the healthcare team in delivering efficient, high-quality care. Requirements: Certification: Active Medical Assistant Certification and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification are required. Vaccination: COVID-19 vaccines and booster, as well as the 2024-2025 flu vaccine, are mandatory. If the flu vaccine is not current, candidates must provide an attestation confirming they will receive it before the start date.
