Exciting\nopportunity to work in the Neuromedical ICU. \nResponsibilities\ninclude direct care for patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures as well as\nmedical neurology patients. \nDirect care responsibilities include\nadmission work-ups daily management including complex ventilator management\ncentral lines arterial lines and transfer/discharge. \nOther\nresponsibilities include student precepting and support of unit-based\nnurses. \nApplicant must be motivated flexible and independent and\npossess excellent clinical skills in critical care. \nThe APP will participate in the education of learners students and new employees using clinical learning experiences knowledge sharing and skill training \nMust Have: - Acute Care NP certified or NCCPA certified. - Arterial/Main Line Placement experience - Minimum of 3 years critical care NP experience. - Neurosurgical or Neurology\nexperience is highly preferred Parsed Type: Nurse Practitioner Parsed Specialty: Critical Care Unit
