MS Tele Oncology:
** MIXED ACUITY UNIT: ALL TRAVELERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK WITH MEDSURG PATIENTS**
Ratios:1:5-6; PCU 1:3-4
Years of experience REQ: 18 months
Weekend REQ: Every other
Certs REQ: ACLS, BLS required; NIH preferred
Is on-call REQ? No
Will the clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes
Open to accommodating block schedule? To be discussed
Pending License accepted: No. IN-STATE LICENSE / REQUIRED CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUB
RTO Restrictions: Must work 2/3 major holidays.
Guaranteed Hours: 8 and 10 hr. shifts - 40 hrs. in one workweek.
3, 12 hr. shifts - 36 hrs. in one workweek. 4, 12 hr. shifts - 48 hrs. in one workweek.
Special Requirements: PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown; interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, accessing ports, starting IVs. PREFERRED EXP: neuro and oncology experience; Central Line Care/Management; monitoring chemotherapy
Unit Information: Medical PCU Oncology and Stroke Unit; Mixed Acuity Unit - Medical patients with some PCU level of care patients.
