Shift: 12H Days Thurs-Friday & EOW, 0900-2130 Radiation Badge Required PRIOR to starting travel assignment**Department:Radiology - CT (Computed Tomography)General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.)Current BLS requiredCerts/ARRT & other specialty certification requirementsARRT RT (R) (CT)How many scanners/rooms does this department have3Will they have to float/cover any other areasOccasionaly float to X-ray to do ED/Inpatient/Outpatient X-ray. Usually depends on the job/shift positonCommon types of imaging/studies performed & Job DutiesAll routine CT exams for Inpatient/Outpatient and EDCardiac CT, biopsy/drain, Cryo/Microwave ablationsExperience or 'Must have' skillsMust be able to perform all routine CT exams as well as TraumaAverage # of scans/studies per day65-70 in a 24 hour period on 3 scannersEMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they useEMR = EPICPACS = SECTRAWindows computer softwareDepartment Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens)1 GE REV CT2 GE REV HDRadiology Supervisor or Lead TechBoth Imaging supervisor and Shift/Modality lead techsDo they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)NoRadiologist in-houseRadiologist on site 24/7Do they have to start IV's (if applicable to the department)Yes IV skills very helpful for working outpatientsShifts & SchedulingShift times just depends - can be a mix of 10Hr and 12Hr shifts for both days & nights. Assigned shifts and schedule.
