Title-Registered Nurse Specialty-Labor & Delivery Location-Fullerton, CA 92835 Shift- 12hrs x 3 Days, 7AM to 7:30PM, 36 hrs. /week, Every other weekend. Job Type-Full Time Contract Duration-13 weeks (With Possible Extension) Start date-12/03/24 Hours per week-36 Submittal Requirements: 1) 2 years of experience required as RN in Labor & Delivery specialty. 2) Certificates Required-BLS, ACLS, AWHONN, NRP 3) Covid vaccination card. Job Duties: (Not Limited To) 1) Meeting with expectant mothers for prenatal visits and providing care for normal and problematic pregnancies. 2) Teaching childbirth preparation classes. 3) Providing information, guidance, and hands-on clinical care to pregnant women. 4) Monitoring fetal heartbeat and length and strength of contractions during labor. 5) Coaching women, assisting with any complications and administering medications during birth. 6) Performing tests on newborns after birth. 7) Providing guidance to new mothers on all aspects of recovery and infant care.
