Shift: 8 hours, nights

Responsibilities: Assist with Cardiac and IR Procedures: Prepare and assist in various cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and supporting the medical team throughout the process. Patient Monitoring: Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms before, during, and after procedures, promptly identifying and responding to any changes or complications. Sedation and Medication Administration: Administer moderate sedation and other medications as prescribed, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care as necessary. Maintain Sterile Environment: Ensure a sterile environment is maintained throughout all procedures by adhering to strict aseptic techniques and infection control practices. Equipment Preparation and Operation: Prepare, calibrate, and operate specialized equipment used in cardiac cath and IR procedures, including fluoroscopy, monitoring systems, and contrast injectors. Patient Education and Post-Procedure Care: Provide patients and families with education on pre- and post-procedure expectations, discharge instructions, and follow-up care as needed. 📋 Required Qualifications: ✅ Current Wisconsin State RN License 🩺 Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification 💓 Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification ⏳ 2+ Years of Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab 🔹 Proficiency in Interventional Radiology (IR) *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
