Performs echoes on peds patients in an outpatient and inpatient setting. May perform adult congenital echoes when needed. Both peds and adult patients may be scanned under sedation when applicable. The equipment utilized is Philips EPIC 7. The PACS system is SECTRA. The medical record system is EPIC. Electronic reporting is used. The Echo peds echo department utilizes TOM TECH and Cupid reporting within EPIC. Required skills and minimum years of experience- Pediatric echo credentials through CCI or ARDMS required. 4-5 years pediatric experience preferred, but not required. Fetal echo experience a plus. Children s Hospital experience is highly recommended but not required. Knowledge of Single ventricle physiology and single ventricle repairs preferred. Comments: Shifts: Day shift which may include different start and end times, Will rotate between clinic and hospital to perform pediatric echo and or congenital adult echo. The primary location will be a clinic setting. Will perform echoes on outpatients and inpatients. Most patients will be pediatric but may scan adult congenital patients. Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Call: Mandatory and in rotation with staff that perform peds echo. This may vary in frequency according to peds staff FTE s. The call will be assigned on weeknights, weekends and holidays. -Apply for ND licensure upon acceptance. Required to work in the state of ND. -Ear buds are not to be used on work time -Cell phones are to be minimal -No reading books on work time -If the holiday is during the contract frame- will be expected to work and or take call on the holiday whichever one pertains to the department at that time. Will be dependent on the amount of peds echo staff in the department. Travelers will be the first to be assigned to holidays on a rotational basis, if more than one peds echo travelers. -This location does not take local candidates. Must reside more than 80 miles away from facility. -If time off is requested during the negotiation of the original contract, this time will be added to the end of the contract to fulfill the 13 weeks. -Gray scrubs with white, black, or gray underneath Name of Position Requirements - ND License (willing to get, please note, takes 4-6 weeks) - 4-5 Years Experience - ARDCS or RCS certification - Peds experience? - Fast Paced / High Volume Exp? - Can perform agitated bubble studies? - Does your candidate require time off during assignment? If yes, please list in comments - Call is required Insurance is not included within the posted pay package. If you wish to take insurance through the agency, the final pay package will change.
