Rooms/bed - 32
Ratios: 1:2 (day/night/weekend)
Float required (travelers are the first to float, typically to NICU or CCU but can float to MS)
Weekends: every other
Level II trauma exp required
Must have experience from a large pediatric hospital.
First time travelers are accepted
typical medical/surgical ICU patients that are non-cardiac. Respiratory, Trauma, Neuro, and etc.
VENT, INTUBATION, SEDATION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Diploma, Associates, or Bachelor s degree from an accredited school of nursing required
Minimum 2 year of RN experience required
Experience with pediatric patients required.
Previous experience with EPIC preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a current valid Nebraska RN license/RN Compact license required.
Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association is required.
Current and valid Pediatric Life Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
Current and valid certification preferred, Certified Pediatric Nurse or Certified Critical Care Nurse
